As we all know everyone’s body works much different than others at time but there is not bigger difference than that of a man and woman’s body. Women today face quite a few health risks so staying healthy and fit is becoming a bigger priority for people who used to shrug it off. Keeping fit and healthy not only increases our chances for a longer life but also helps our bodies perform better, especially as we get older.
One of the things everyone should know is their family’s health history. For example, if diabetes, cancer or any of other type of disease or condition runs in your family you should always be aware so that you can prevent it. There are health risks everywhere but if you know what you are more susceptible to then it becomes easier to stay as healthy and fit as you can.
What are some tips for Women’s health that work?
Believe it or not, one of the best ways to stay healthy is to eat the right foods! There are even specific foods that are more helpful than others, take tea for example. Black, white and green teas are all great for antioxidants but the green tea has actually been used as anti cancer treatment. There are some foods you should be administering everyday too like low fat milk, nuts, cheese, orange juice, broccoli, fruit, and even hot cocoa.
Just getting out for some exercise, even a brisk walk, will greatly increase your health and your overall stamina. If you are not a fan of working out in a gym there are plenty of work outs you can do right in your own living room.
What are the top Women’s health risks out there?
The number one health risk that women face today is of course, heart disease. Over 500,000 women alone die from this disease so be sure to keep an eye on your cholesterol and high blood pressure! The next top risk women face is unfortunately, cancer. Lung and breast cancer are the most common forms of cancer women have but the type of cancer a woman can get knows no limits.
Talk to your doctor in order to get more information on your family’s health history and tips for you individually to start a healthier life. Being fit doesn’t mean being “skinny”, just keeping yourself healthy should be satisfactory enough.
